Inspired by the work of others

Had a wonderful Thursday chilling out with like-minded creative friends. Was a great time just to relax, share our art, and inspire each other with what we've been doing.
None of what follows is my work...enjoy the talents of my friends :
Rhonda had been making Christmas crafts - this delightful Santa and dog from a class with the talented Jill Maas
and this is a sweet idea - would look great on a Christmas tree - instructions here
Katherine had made this beautiful lavender bag for a gift
and shared this lovely quilt top made of pieces of wool from childhood clothes.
Marie has knitted this very special christmas hat - lovely berries
Lisa's Russian Fudge is the best :-)
We met at the studio of the very talented felt artist,Tracy White. She makes beautiful scarves
and sells lovely hand-dyed silk and wool fibres for your own creations
Her sense of colour is wonderful - I have purchased sari ribbon overdyed by her too...
She was one of the artists featured in this NZ publication
and more recently her work was juried into this book
Both recommended.
More recently  she's been making some lovely flowers - pattern here
Be tempted to buy some of her wares tonight
or contact her: Inspire Fibres, 94 Vogel St, Woodville

So thankful to have these women in my life.
Have a lovely weekend
